TalkingDocuments is a document intelligence platform. Upload PDFs, Word docs, Excel, PowerPoint, images, or text files and work with them using AI. Ask questions with cited answers using Document Chat, or pull structured data from hundreds of files at once using Data Extraction. Every answer and extracted value is traced back to its source.
Two core workflows: Document Chat lets you ask natural-language questions and get answers grounded in your files with page-level source citations. Data Extraction lets you define templates with custom fields and extract structured data from entire document sets at once — then export to CSV. Both workflows support any uploaded file format and any connected model.
TalkingDocuments offers four plans: Free (25 credits/month, 1 user, 2 projects), Starter, Pro, and Business — plus a custom Enterprise tier. All plans include both Document Chat and Data Extraction. Higher tiers add more credits, users, storage, BYOM, SSO/SAML, and audit logs. Start free and upgrade anytime.
BYOM lets you connect your own API keys for supported LLM providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini instead of using platform-provided models. Your team uses the models you choose for both chat and extraction. This gives you control over model selection, cost, and data routing. BYOM is available on Business and Enterprise plans.
Your documents and data are stored on TalkingDocuments-managed infrastructure, encrypted at rest and in transit. Data is used only to provide platform functionality and is never used for model training. You can delete your data at any time. Enterprise customers with on-prem deployments retain full control of all data.
